I updated the Compatibility View on the browser installed on the DC, and then used that as the basis for the GPP Registry key update. On the machine you create the list on, open the GPM tool and go to GPP > Windows Settings> Registry. Include ALL websites you want on the list. Create the compatibility list on your PC. In order for the list to show on the local machine, you will actually need to use Group Policy Preferences and push a registry modification. It's got me scratching my head therefore, any input would be received gratefully!
Nevertheless, when I check the Compatibility View settings on the target machine, the list hasn't been updated. Nothing awry showing up in DCDIAG, either. GPUPDATE was run, and ran GPRESULT to ensure the policy was applied to the test machine (which it did). The DC is running Server 2008 Standard (SP2)Ģ. I'm having some issues updating IE11 Compatibility View via a GPO on our domain, and I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction as to any steps they think I may have missed.
